Social isolation is a god send for anglers
Many of the authorities are calling for social isolation - up until a few weeks ago I had never heard of that phrase - I just thought it was called fishing.
Now I have come to realise my whole life has been a search for what authorities now want me to do. Perhaps I could undertake some consultancy for them - they could pay me some massive amount for me to advise them that in order to avoid crowds and Covid19 people should take up angling.
And imagine if you have to self isolate for two weeks - I have that figured out too - a shack or cabin where there are few people. Or just stay at home, pack lunch and take yourself fishing every day to an area where people are few and fish are many.
Self medicate
Maybe you could self medicate with a whisky or two. Not sure the whisky will help you avoid Covid19, but I suggest you buy a really expensive bottle and then you may not want to share it.
Seriously - we are taking this whole deal as a very serious matter - and wide open spaces are good.

Clothing, waders and polaroids are a specialty of Jules, whilst Mike and Allan have fished all over the World for many species.
Fishing report
Penstock is still well stocked with fish, Lake Leake and Tooms have some big fish and the rivers have all had a good flush recently and are fishing well as the days get shorter.
Arthurs fishes well one day and not the next - pretty similar to Woods. Great lake has had some terrific fishing on calm early mornings, and Lake Burbury has had some outstanding fishing when wind lanes have been good.
Australian dollar compared to US dollar is heading south
Last week our dollar dropped by pretty close to 10 percent - and that means tackle and gear prices will rise. Most tackle is traded wholesale in US Dollars, or is connected closely to USD. Premium rod and reel prices will rise. So if you are thinking of buying one any time soon, now is the time to buy. This is not 'Mike from Marketing' trying to push you, but reality. Some are saying our Australian dollar will go where it has never
been before. In 2001 it was 47.75 cents and in 2010 it reached parity with the USD for a few seconds. So Mike says 'Buy now and save'. And yes you can layby at today's prices if you want to pay something off.
