Fly fishing fun Tuesday 29 May

We love to bring you new things. This month - Tuesday 29 May, Essential Flyfisher and Van Dieman Fly Fishers Club have secured Antti Vappula from Vision fly fishing products to do a talk.

Vision is a European brand of high regard and Antti is the Australian Distributor.

Antti will bring some of Vision's exciting range for you to see.

This is a normal meeting night for the Van Dieman Club, and you may have to sit through 5 minutes of general business, but you can have a refreshment from the bar.

Time: 7pm for 7.30 sharp start.

Advanced River Techniques - Antti Vappula
Succeeding in a day on a river can be a result of many variables. Landing fish where most fail and being successful in changing conditions is a result of pinpoint accurate preparation and hard work. In this presentation, Antti will cover different types of rivers, how to read them, different rigs and setups as well as how to master different techniques that makes the difference when the result is the priority.
