Free lessons from fly fishing champions

Published: Tue, 09/19/17

Hi , here is a rare opportunity for you that may never happen again.

Monday 25th September - Launceston

You are invited to spend a night in the company of some of the World’s best fly fishers.

Four members from the 2017 Australian fly fishing team that have just competed in the World Championships in Slovakia will host a night in Launceston sharing their stories, techniques and tips. They are open and sharing and if you listen, and apply some of the things you will learn, you will catch more fish.

The program will be - a short presentation by the Team, followed by questions from the floor. You can sit back and suck it all up, or ask Australia’s best fly fishers questions.

Who will be there?
Christopher Bassano – finished 6th
Jonothan Stagg – 19th
Garth Jackson – Manager
Craig Coltman – Captain

This is an opportunity no fly fisher should miss. These guys are at the top of the tree when it comes to fly fishing and you can learn many of their tips and tricks. They will explain rods, lines, flies and techniques - and they will have a bunch of their gear to show. I believe some of their flies will be in locked boxes (joking). You may even see a little fly tying by Christopher.

Whilst they are very competitive fly fishers they also enjoy a day on the stream or lake as much as anyone.
But when you get to World competition level, the subtle things can make a difference – that can work for you too.

So if you want a FREE master class in fly fishing do not miss this opportunity – it may never happen again.
