Breathable fabrics have been one of the biggest advances ever in the outdoor scene. Who would have ever thought anglers would be wearing waders that let moisture (sweat) out, but don't let water in. It still makes no sense to me, but I can assure you it works.

Layered with appropriate under layers you will be warm in winter and less sweaty and comfortable all year round.
